Luca Prati
Born in Milan in 1966.
He works as a barrister in Milan and he is mostly specialised in Company Law and Administrative Law, after having spent several years by leading multinational enterprises that he is still counselling. He is a member of Audit Committees, as per the Legislative Decree 231/2001. He was a member of the Executive Council of “Rivista Giuridica dell’Ambiente (the Environmental Legal Journal)” and of the Scientific Committee of the “Rivista Ambiente e Sviluppo (Environment and Development Journal)”. He taught several seminars and Company and Environmental Law post-graduate masters. He is author of several books and numerous publications in the field of Environmental, Safety, Contract and Industrial Law. Among the major publications: “The sub-contracting” by Prati Luca and Cardini Alessandra, published by IPSOA in 1999;“Water pollution” published by IPSOA in 2001; “The transfer of the business as a going concern”, published by Giappichelli in 2005; “The Environmental damage and the remediation of contaminated sites”, published by IPSOA in 2008; “Water discharges, pollution and territory protection”, published by IPSOA in 2008; “The responsibility for the environmental damage and the remediation of contaminated sites”, published by IPSOA in 2011. He is also co-author of The Environmental Code published by Giuffre’ and publisher of numerous articles and collective works.
Many publications on the subject of environmental, business and labor safety law, for all the major Italian publishing houses specialized in the legal field. Among others, he is author of the books “Environmental damage and reclamation of polluted sites“, “Landfills, water pollution and soil protection. The new rules and regulations after the Legislative Decree 152/2006 and its amendments“, “The transfer of business“.
